What better way to celebrate the 1911's 100th year anniversary than to own one of these beauties?
This very special limited edition 24 karat gold plated 1911 by SOCOM Gear will only be produced 500 times each with a unique serial number. It comes sporting the glorious noble sheen of gold in its classic sleek 1911 body. Combining this iconic pistol with this decadent finish reveals a functional weapon that looks just as gorgeous in a display case as it does on the field.
Running on green gas, it clocks in at about 300 fps out of the box and feeds from a true single stack style 1911 fourteen round magazine. The textured grip panels, spring housing and front plate makes use of the inherent rubber materials high friction to ensure comfortable high torque hand interfacing with a fantastic ergonomic form. The smooth matte black magazine slides in and out of the well like ice on glass, clips into place perfectly flush with an effortless yet dead secure lock.
The barrel is internally threaded to accept the included thread adapter which adds an external 14mm CCW threading purposed for the addition of silencers (silencer not included). Although really more of a collectors gem, this pistol is perfectly capable of skirmish like any other GBB pistol and as a 1911 is is indeed compatible with after market magazines, accessories and modifications.
