NO UKARA REQUIRED FOR QUALIFYING JD VIP PURCHASES
JD operates an insured shooting facility and maintains records for its VIP members.

Where JD is satisfied that the applicable legal requirements and qualifying purpose are met, a qualifying VIP member may purchase an eligible Realistic Imitation Firearm from JD without holding a UKARA registration.

JD will still carry out the age, identity, membership and other checks we consider necessary before completing a RIF sale.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
JD VIP IS NOT UKARA
JD VIP Membership is not a UKARA registration and it is not a general licence or universal RIF purchasing card.

The VIP scheme gives JD its own membership and verification route for qualifying transactions made directly with JD Airsoft.

Membership should not be assumed to provide a valid purchasing route at another retailer, website or airsoft store.

Other retailers may require UKARA or other evidence that they are satisfied supports the applicable legal defence.
AIRGUN MEMBERS
VIP & AIRGUN PURCHASES
5% MEMBER DISCOUNT
VIP members receive the applicable 5% member discount on eligible airgun purchases.

VIP Membership does not remove the legal requirements that apply to the purchase or transfer of an air rifle or air pistol.

Age, identification and the applicable RFD face-to-face transfer requirements still apply.

CAN I BRING SOMEBODY ELSE ONTO THE RANGE WITH MY MEMBERSHIP?
VIP range access is for the individual member only. Membership does not provide additional range access for another person.
DO I GET A DISCOUNT ON RIFS?
Yes. VIP members receive 5% discount on eligible RIF purchases from JD, subject to the applicable purchasing and verification requirements.
DO I GET A DISCOUNT ON AIRGUNS?
Yes. VIP members receive 5% discount on eligible airgun purchases. The normal age, identification and RFD transfer requirements still apply.
WHAT COUNTS AS A CONSUMABLE?
VIP members receive 10% discount on qualifying consumable products, including pellets and gas.
HOW MANY FREE HPA REFILLS CAN I HAVE?
VIP Membership includes one free HPA bottle refill per member, per day.
DO I NEED UKARA TO BUY A RIF FROM JD AS A VIP MEMBER?
A qualifying JD VIP member may be able to purchase an eligible RIF directly from JD without a UKARA registration where JD is satisfied that the applicable requirements are met.

This only describes JD's own verification process and should not be assumed to be accepted by another retailer.
CAN I USE JD VIP MEMBERSHIP AT ANOTHER AIRSOFT RETAILER?
JD VIP Membership is an internal JD membership and verification scheme.

Another retailer is not required to recognise it and may ask you for UKARA or other evidence that satisfies their own verification process.
