Overview

The DNT NVMD-C200 is a multi-purpose digital night vision device designed to adapt to a wide range of shooting and observation setups. Manufactured by DNT Optics, it combines four roles in one compact unit: standalone night vision scope, clip-on device, red dot magnifier, and action camera. This versatility allows users to switch configurations without changing optics, making it a practical solution for day and night use.

Imaging & Viewing Modes

At the core of the NVMD-C200 is a 1920 × 1080 digital sensor paired with a micro-OLED display, delivering clear image detail and strong contrast in low-light conditions. During daytime use, the device operates in full-colour mode, while at night it offers multiple viewing options including black & white, green phosphor, and white phosphor modes. These modes allow users to tailor the image to their environment and personal preference.

Digital magnification ranges from 1× to 6×, providing flexibility for close-range and mid-range use without excessive image degradation.

Multi-Purpose Configurations

One of the defining features of the NVMD-C200 is its ability to operate in multiple configurations. It can be used as a standalone digital night vision scope, mounted directly to a rifle, or as a clip-on device positioned in front of an existing daytime optic. It also functions as a red dot magnifier, when combined with reflex and holographic sights, and can be deployed independently as an action camera for recording and observation.

Quick-detach mounting options allow fast transitions between setups, reducing downtime in the field.

Recording & Connectivity

The NVMD-C200 includes built-in video and audio recording, with support for Recoil Activated Video (RAV) to automatically capture footage when a shot is fired. This ensures key moments are recorded without manual input. A 32GB internal memory is built in, allowing immediate use without the need for external storage.

Wi-Fi connectivity enables pairing with the DNT mobile app for live viewing, playback, file transfer, and basic device control from a compatible smartphone or tablet.

Power & Build Quality

Power is supplied by a standard 18650 rechargeable battery, offering practical runtime for extended sessions, with USB-C external power support available for longer use. The compact housing is designed for field durability while remaining lightweight, making it suitable for handheld or weapon-mounted use.
