The latest iteration of helmet identification and signal lights, the Helmet Signal Light from GK Tactical, is an excellent addition for those requiring an Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) light marker. It is particularly useful in both daylight and low-light airsoft environments, milsim events, or outdoor activities. Constructed from lightweight nylon, it offers a variety of configurable light modes to suit user needs, all powered by a single AA battery, which can be easily sourced from your local hardware or convenience store. The device features two switches on its side and two buttons directly below them. The right switch activates the light, allowing users to toggle between Off, Strobe, and Solid modes, while the left switch enables toggling between White, Infrared, and coloured light modes. Additionally, the two buttons below the switches allow users to adjust the brightness of the light, making it convenient for airsoft players or everyday use. A notable feature for team-based events is the coloured light mode, which allows players to switch between Red, Green, and Blue lights by holding both brightness buttons for five seconds. Furthermore, the helmet light includes a recording mode; by holding both brightness buttons for ten seconds, the unit vibrates and begins recording any button interactions, tracking user inputs until the user is satisfied, at which point they can hold both buttons for another ten seconds to stop recording. This helmet light is an invaluable addition to your gear, especially when mounted on a helmet, as it stands out prominently against a human silhouette.
