valon Weapons Works Version - the player-optimized airsoft gun with Mosfet switching unit!The Avalon Weapons Works rifle series are rifles that, compared to the VR16 series, are already equipped with tuning material by VFC and are specially designed for players. Mosfet and a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel are therefore already installed when delivered. A fire selector lever that can be operated from both sides and a custom cocking lever are also installed in the delivery condition. Also of interest is the Avalon Weapons Works body lettering so these rifles can be immediately recognized on the field. Of course, rifles from the Avalon series are repeatedly tested by the manufacturer in terms of functionality and manufacturing quality, so that only flawless models leave the factory. The buyer thus receives a rifle which can be used immediately on the field without further tuning measures.

This model from the VFC / Avalon rifle series has a one-piece 8.5 inch aluminum outer barrel attached to the front, which also has an aggressively styled aluminum flash hider (14mm) screwed on. Instead of the conventional handguard, this version has an approx. 8-inch long aluminum Free Float M-Lok rail system. Similar to the KeyMod system, various accessories are mounted directly on the handguard. There are no more empty or unused 21mm rails, which were often annoying with conventional handguards. With the M-Lok system, the accessories required by the shooter are attached directly to the handguard with a quick-release fastener. There is an eyelet on the left and right to mount a QD belt holder. Included are three is an M-Lok to 21mm adapter rail with a length of 58mm. The visor attached to the top is a flip-up model with height adjustment made of composite plastic. As is typical for Vega Force Company / Avalon Weapon Works, the complete front system is manufactured and assembled without play and with a precise fit. The high-quality coating of the metal parts also gives a very true-to-original impression.

The processing of the main body, which consists of two body parts like real M4 / M16 rifles, is also of particularly high quality. The matt black coloring of the VFC / Avalon rifles is powder-coated, which ensures very good abrasion resistance. The processing quality is also at a particularly high level, which means that both aluminum housing halves fit together perfectly. In contrast to many other airsoft replicas, all logos of the Avalon series are not only lasered on, but also engraved cleanly and in detail into the housing. There is also a consecutive serial number that makes each model unique. Also interesting is the functioning bolt-catch mechanism, which allows for easy adjustment of the hop-upsystem. Exclusive to Avalon are the steel fire selector lever, which can be operated from both sides, and the enlarged magazine catch. Like a real rifle, the upper part of the housing has a 160 mm long 21mm rail on which, for example, a target device from the aftermarket can be mounted. A flip-up visor made of aluminum is attached ex works, which can be folded in or out and adjusted laterally. This VFC / Avalon airsoft rifle is also upgraded with the new QRS tuning parts. In this case, it is the speed trigger, the QRS trigger guard and the ergonomic QRS grip with textured surfaces, which is made of polymer composite plastic.

An aluminum shaft tube with 5 locking positions and additional steel strap adapter is attached at the rear. The VFC QRS - Quick Response Stick running on it is made of particularly stable polymer composite plastic. The outer shape was based on the well-known M4 Crane-Stock, which also brings its advantages to bear. Inside, the shaft offers plenty of space for the drive battery. The stock is opened at the back by means of the butt plate, which is folded up. 9.6V NiMH Twin-Type or 7.4 - 11.1V LiPo Small Tri-Panel and Stock-Tube batteries can be inserted (see accessories).

As mentioned above, with the Avalon rifle series, VFC placed great value on reliable functioning for the player. Hence the new gearbox-Metal housing in reinforced 8mm design. Thanks to the reinforcements and the new 8mm Ultra High Speed ​​ball bearings, the reliability has already increased with the basic components. Gears are durable custom high-speed steel gears, which, like many other VFC rifles, have a so-called spring-loaded self-shimming. To prevent the gears from turning backwards, an anti-reversal latch made of steel is installed. A sector gear clip is also part of the game and, in combination with the new tappet plate made of special, extra tough material and the nozzle with an O-ring, ensures safe ball feeding.

The MosFet switching unit with silver cable built into the gearbox is particularly interesting for the player. This unit takes the high currents from the mechanical switch assembly (switch unit) and converts it into a signal generator. As a result, only a very weak current flows through the conventional switch, which means that damage to the mechanical component can no longer occur. Due to the much lower electrical resistance of the Mosfet switching unit, the motor gets a low-loss current, which in turn develops more power. Especially interesting in Germany, because the increased power of the Mosfet can result in fewer or no gearbox jams.

In order to achieve the very good series shot performance of up to 1.4 joules, an M120 tuning spring with a ball-bearing metal spring guide was also installed. To ensure that this is wound up reliably, a high speed / medium torque motor is already used as standard. The VFC Avalon series achieves the very good ex works precision with a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel.

As with almost all high-quality S-AEG Rifles, the VFC Avalon rifle series also has an adjustable hop-up system. This is the new VFC Generation II hop-up unit in one-piece design with a drum-type adjustment wheel. As with all other M4 / M16 airsoft replicas, the unit is located under the deco sleeve ejection window. To adjust, simply pull the custom cocking lever - adjust the hop-up - and then press the bolt-catch on the side. The ejection window is now closed again and the hop-up system is protected from dirt.

All Tokyo Marui-compatible M4, M15, M16 magazines can be used, such as those from Dytac, Tokyo Marui, Ares Airsoft, Hexmag, etc. The new VFC QRS mid-cap polymer magazine that is included has a capacity of around 120 rounds . Due to the material used, the magazine is particularly light compared to sheet steel models. The honeycomb grip design ensures optimal handling and a perfect grip.
